Bio

I’m Adam Eustace, an Egyptian-Irish designer born and raised in Dubai, shaped by contrast, movement, and constant adaptation. I approach fashion through a technical and systems-driven lens, treating garments as adaptive tools that respond to the body rather than define it. My work focuses on precision, evolution, and control, using patternmaking and construction to explore clothing as a second skin. I balance instinct and logic to create pieces that are both functional and expressive.

SYMBIOTE

Inspired by the symbiote as an adaptive second skin, this collection explores how clothing can transcend fixed identity through technical patternmaking, stretch zones, and adjustable closures. The black and white palette removes imposed identity, allowing the wearer to project themselves onto the garment. Rather than forcing the individual to adapt, the design coexists with the wearer, responding to different bodies, movements, and needs to create a sense of belonging.

Looks 4, 7, and 8 relate to “Belonging” through the symbiote concept by treating the garment as an adaptive second skin rather than a fixed form. The black and white palette removes imposed identity, allowing the wearer to project themselves onto it, while technical patterning, stretch zones, and adjustable closures help it respond to different bodies and movements. Like a symbiote, the design coexists with the wearer, creating comfort, autonomy, and inclusion by adapting to the individual.
