Cerimonial Codes 1:1

The collection draws from personal experience in Santa Fe, New Mexico and the religious codes of Catholic iconography. Through use of the veil as a recurring motif, I am exploring tension between faith, consumerism and personal identity. Specifically, deconstructing the Apostolic of the catholic orthodox nuns with heavy influence from merchandisable streetwear essentials.

My collection as a whole adresses the communal aspect of S.o.F values by celebrating diverse identities, cultures, perspectives, experiences and world views thus cultivating a safe collaborative school culture for both students, professors and alumni.

Contrabutions

Thank you to everyone who participated in the development and actualization of the collection. Thank you to my professors Jacques and Thomas for your dedication and critique. This would not have been possible without all of your belief and support. Thank you to my friends and family. I am exited to continue my journey in the world of fashion.
