FIVE NAUGHTY MINXES

‘A jolly call to counteract all that and loosen up a little’

Image: FIVE NAUGHTY MINXES explores the changes in behavioural patterns as one gets progressively more inebriated through the lens of the types of people captured in Dafydd Jones: The Last Hurrah, a photographic series depicting ‘oblivious aristocratic bad behaviour’. At the beginning of a night, one is cleaner, quieter, and more reserved; but, as the night goes on, each of these attributes slowly falls away to become messier, louder, and freer. A single drink turns into many more, and every bad decision feels brilliant, every confession to near-strangers seems sensible, and every stumble is blamed on general clumsiness – because you aren’t really that drunk.
