This collection draws inspiration from the towering rock formations and desert landscapes of southern Utah and Arizona, a place my family has cherished for over 50 years across five generations. Desert plants set against red-tan sand and towering canyon walls create a serene backdrop, where sediment lines, eroded cliffs, arches, and domes form natural sculptures.
Through natural dyes, incorporating found materials, and driftwood, alongside woodworking, I explored sculptural forms and texture that bridge each piece back to the land that inspired it. Blending the strength and structure of rock formations with fluid, organic shapes, this collection transforms my connection to this landscape into garments, jewelry, and handmade shoes that carry the desert’s energy, sculptural presence, and enduring sense of place.
