Tori Rosenthal
Bio
Tori Rosenthal is a NYC based designer from south Florida. Her work is based in textile design, sustainability and size inclusivity. With a focus on silkscreen printing and re-use of second hand materials, she hopes to continue working with and around textiles. Her lived experiences as a mid-size woman influence her design decisions and details that make most of her garments truly for every-body. She hopes to make the industry a more sustainable, understanding, and inclusive place.

The words you wish to say to someone but cannot for whatever reason. For me, that person is my childhood self and what she found joy in. Things such as cryptids and monsters that I loved as a child are representations of the transformation from childhood to adulthood. Bigfoot, vampires, ghosts, and uncanny historical photos are distorted and transformed into clothing that little me would think is cool. The clothing represents childhood whimsy and wonder through an over the top fringe textile, that is hidden and revealed by the user throughout the collection, as your childhood fun slowly has to go away as you shift into adulthood. Many items in this collection are transformative and adjustable to fit many bodies. This entire collection was sourced second hand and is zero waste.
