Bio
I approach design through a queer lens shaped by lived experience in New York’s underground music communities. I treat clothing as both object and social language, a system of codes signaling belonging, taste, and ideology. Drawing from spaces rooted in ritual and collectivity, my work navigates tensions between devotion and rebellion, refinement and extremity. Informed by an expansive familiarity of fashion’s modern canon, the garments I create feel culturally embedded yet precisely resolved, bridging insular communities with broader, critically engaged audiences.
From Church to Club: Queer Rituals of Divinity and Community
My thesis collection is rooted in my intuitive design processes – making from instincts, sensations, and deep lived experience within queer nightlife. Through this lens, I redefine the club as a sanctuary, an environment of collective transcendence. In this atmosphere, glamour, eroticism, and most importantly community transform into access points to divinity and identity.
