Under Pressure

“Under Pressure” reimagines the legacy of the Haenyeo through contemporary bag design. Grounded in endurance, breath, and submersion, the project explores how pressure and weight are embodied through form and material.

Ocean waste textiles, water-resistant waxed cotton, and breath-like pleating evoke the tactile realities of underwater labor, transforming resilience into a sensory, wearable experience.
