Yeri Moon
Bio
Yeri Moon is a New York–based designer who approaches fashion products beyond their function, focusing on the emotions experienced when they are worn or carried. Her work explores how fleeting moments and subtle emotional traces can be translated into form.
Observing everyday gestures and overlooked details, she draws inspiration from emotions that are often invisible or quickly lost. She is particularly interested in the act of giving and the psychological nuances embedded within it.
Through fashion, she seeks to capture and extend these ephemeral moments, creating objects that preserve and reactivate emotional experiences in daily life.
Holding the Moment
Preserving Fleeting Emotions explores how fleeting emotions can be preserved through everyday objects. Rather than focusing on flowers, it centers on the emotional moment of a person holding a bouquet. The bouquet is understood as a medium through which emotions are formed, exchanged, and remembered.
Inspired by this, the bags are designed to capture and hold these moments over time. By being carried, they extend the act of giving into daily life, allowing emotions to linger beyond the original moment. Through structured forms and refined materials, the work translates intangible feelings into lasting, physical experiences.
